Parallel deployments by L&M Keatings to protect salmonids in a sensitive river in Ireland.

Keatings purchased AquaDam and achieved multiple -uses to accomplish the rebuild of the Bandon Retaining Wall.

We trained their site foreman to deploy the dams using web based training system. He then used his new-found knowledge to instruct his site team.



AquaDam deployed into a C shape to act as a barrier to prevent contaminated soil entering the river system during remediation works.

The photograph shows quite a large scale project but we have suit dams to suit even very small projects.

 "I used the Aquadam system in a river which was known to support spawning salmonids. As it was a requirement of the Fisheries Board that measures be taken to avoid excessive silt travelling down the river during the works the Aquadam could be formed around the works area to contain the silt and this worked very well throughout the duration of the project."
