A 180cm MCD Aquadam deployed to
de-water a leat for the installation of a
mini hydro electric plant.

With pumps running the filling of this
18m long Aquadam took under 2
hours.

Notice the size of the rolled Aquadam
prior to deployment. This weighted in
at approximately 350kg.

The hydroelectric installation was
completed in June 2009 and is
producing around 11kW of sustainable
energy.
With the Aquadam in place installation work continues.
