Material being removed from this river bank is
contaminated.

The Aquadam has been deployed as a silt barrier to allow
removal of contaminated sediment reducing the risk of river
pollution.
Aquadams are available in heights
from 18 inches up to 8 feet.
In this pier repair 2 lengths of Aquadam have been
connected with a collar to create a longer dam.

For longer runs the repair can be carried out in
sections by re-deploying the Aquadam as each
section is completed.

The speed of such deployments is such that the
downtime between sections is minimal.

A 76cm (2.5ft) x 50m Aquadam controlling a
maximum of 61cm of water is deployed to permit
replacement of a retaining wall.

Notice the excess length of Aquadam rolled up
against the wall.

Once this section has been completed the Aquadam
will be re-used for further sections.
