2 x 35m AquaDams (collared to make a 70m cofferdam)
A straight forward operation to install a 70 m cofferdam created using two 35m AquaDams joined with a collar. The lake bed comprised deep silt. The inflated width of an AquaDam greatly benefits the dam's performance on silt.

The AquaDam in the foreground had been used on previous occasions with the 2nd AquaDam being purchased for this particular project.

Installation time for each dam was around 50 minutes with an additional 20 minutes to link the 2 dams with a collar.

Equipment including 2 x 3" water pumps, pipe work, 2 x 35m AquaDams plus 4 man installation team were transported to site using a Toyotta pickup and Ifor Williams trailer.
