Water filled Cofferdams
Your in-house cofferdamming solution
Collaring or joining 2 AquaDams
Joining 2 AquaDams together is a straight forward process permitting 2 dams of the same MCD (max controlled water depth) to be used as a single length using a collar system. The advantage of such a set up is primarily in delivering flexibility to the dam owners.

For example, a
contractor requires 100m of 6ft AquaDam (140cm MCD) for phase 1 of a contract and then
2 x 50m lengths for phase 2. Albion Water Structures would advise the contractor to consider purchasing 2 x 50m lengths of AquaDam together with a collar for joining.

A further advantage of collaring (joining) is in the relative ease of handling of the shorter, lighter, sections. However, a disadvantage in using 2 joined lengths over a single length is that a join will never be as robust and may prove to be a point of weakness and leakage.

Please note an AquaDam collar must be ordered at same time as the AquaDam as the collar is attached as part of the manufacturing process.
